What is an Expert?

1. Explicit Recommendation: Does someone I trust and respect recommend this service provider  (i.e. a direct referral)?
2. Implicit Recommendation: Is there a trusted source to cosign on this provider’s position in my industry (i.e. a respected news, trade, or other organization)?

In short, if you don’t have an unlimited supply of the first criterion, success lies in accumulating the second. Enter the “Expert” (that’s you!)
